Position Description:
Combat Systems needs Software Engineers that will work primarily within a team environment responsible for Department of Defense applications written in C++/Linux in a CMMI Level 5 organization. The candidate should be adaptable and flexible to handling various problems and technologies. As a Senior Software Engineer, the candidate is expected to mentor and guide team members technically.
Unique Skills:
Mandatory skills include experience with C++, OO Analysis/Design, Design Patterns, UML, Linux/Windows and strong debugging/trouble shooting skills. Desired skills include: experience with Java, multi-threading, Geo Mapping (geospatial data object manipulation), and full life cycle process from conception, design, development, verification/validation to product release.
Experience & Requirements:
PHD in CS/EE with 1+ years experience
Masters Degree in CS/EE with 3+ years experience
Bachelors Degree in CS/EE with 5 + years experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance is required. Active DoD security clearance is a definite plus.
