Description
As a supervisor of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the common areas are maintained and orderly. You will act as a lead team member who will assist in training, developing, and assessing staff to ensure continuous growth through orientations, direction, and feedback. Your supervisory skills will provide team members with a knowledgeable resource for the operations department. Whether helping a member find a key, changing a light bulb, or vacuuming the locker room, you will surely find something you enjoy at Life Time Fitness.
Often, you will work independently, so the ability to multi-task and handle emergency situations is essential. In addition, due to the advanced technology in our clubs the ability to operate simple machinery and tools will help you with your day to day tasks.

Responsibilities
Start your day by performing duties assigned to you by the department head.
Next, utilize your multi-tasking skills by performing various indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks. Build relationships with members as you move about the club greeting them as you go about your day. Allow your enthusiasm to shine while completing your day to day tasks.
Then, monitor and work with team members by helping at towel desk, keeping locker rooms at artistry level, and assisting the department head with various administrative tasks.
Round out your day by ensuring that all assigned tasks have been completed and ready for the next shift.

Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED, College degree in Business, Hospitality or related field preferred
· One year customer service experience
· Building operations experience preferred
· Health and fitness operations experience preferred
· Aquatic facilities operator certification (AFO), Certified Pool Operator License (CPO within 6 months of hire date)
· CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire
