MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Hurst Creek MUD

MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
South Lake Travis Area
$2500 to $2800 month, review in 90 days.
 

The successful applicant will have broad-based experience in office management, dealing with the public and all functions of local government.

The job involves greeting the public in a busy municipal office, routing incoming telephone calls, preparation of work orders and general governmental bookkeeping & accounting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks is essential
, and prior experience with public utility billing systems will be beneficial.

Also, the position involves assisting elected governmental officials in preparing for and conducting public meetings, preparing and maintaining agenda, meeting minutes, resolutions and ordinances, and assisting with local elections. This is a responsible position that offers excellent benefits and the prospect of long-term, stable employment.
