Responsible for managing a large Accounts Payable Department within the Finance organization ensuring high quality work.
· Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements, ensuring prompt payment discounts are taken.
· Responsible for managing multiple projects and understanding cross-functional and global impacts of decisions. Focus on driving global standardization and working collaboratively with global counterparts.
· Identify areas for improvement and drive solutions. Continuous and on-going focus on process improvements.
· Responsible for adherence to controls as outlined in company policies and procedures, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, SOX compliance and regulatory requirements.
· Establish internal controls and procedures.
· Set goals for the group, provide direction, communication, mentoring and support.
· Promote a team environment and provide work direction and guidance focusing on employee and team development.
· Review Accounts Payable operational performance metrics and ensure established performance goals are met.
· Provide high level of customer service to internal/external customers.
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external groups. Manage vendor relationships impacting the group and ensure quality service at reasonable cost.
· Maintain an awareness of Accounts Payable industry changes/trends and related regulations and understand how they impact Apple's processes both from a compliance perspective as well as operationally.

Degreed. MBA/CPA preferred. 10+ years Accounts Payable experience as well as broad business knowledge.
· Strong managerial experience in leading an organization with complex and high volume of transactions, especially in leading organizations through change
· Customer Service excellence
· Strong influencing, interpersonal and communication skills, and comfortable working at all levels of the organization
· Ability to work at both a strategic and detailed operation level, ability to quickly grasp the business, economic and accounting issues of a situation and work toward developing a solution
· Ability to analyze large amounts of information and identify and communicate key information and trends
· Strong problem solving and process improvement skills
· Experience with electronic invoicing
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills required.
· SAP R/3 experience preferred
·Ability to deal with ambiguity, work independently, be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
